Kaaimans Canoes

Come and join us for a unique canoeing experience with Kaaimans Canoes. Here you will get the chance to experience a unique canoeing experience on the well known Kaaimans River.

Hire a canoe and spend an hour or more on the peaceful black waters of the Kaaimans River, while enjoying the spectacular sights of the Kaaimans Bridge and the waterfall up the river. Kaaimans Canoe offers young and old, amateur and experienced, a unique canoeing experience. We make it possible for you to view some of the Garden Routes most hidden secrets.

We have 12 canoes for you to choose from, under which are Macski Explorers and Plastic Flutes. The Fluid Synergy canoes can take 2adults and 1 child per canoe. Our canoes are there for you to explore the river in and make your trip an unforgettable experience. One will be able to row from the low water bridge at Kaaimans, up to the train bridge at the sea, 1km inland towards the Map of Africa and 400m up to a waterfall.

The Kaaimans Bridge is a well known sightseeing attraction in the Garden Route and is the ideal destination for a canoeing experience. The river is ideal for canoeing, swimming, bird watching and also tanning. Take the canoe up the river and stop for a while to take in the fresh air and appreciate nature. We supply life jackets and children of all ages are welcome.

Kaaimans Canoes are open 7days a week, from 8am till 7pm. (weather depending) The rates for canoe hiring are R50 per hour for the first hours and there after R25 per half hour. We will now also be able to take photographs of you while you're enjoying your experience and send it to you at an additional cost. Go to our gallery to see if you recognize anyone.
